As part of the year-long celebration of the 75th Constitution Day under the theme “Hamara Samvidhaan, Hamara Swabhimaan (Our Constitution, Our Pride),” special sessions were organised to strengthen constitutional awareness and reaffirm pride in India’s democratic values. The programmes featured two esteemed speakers: Dr. Gomathi Senthilkumar — Senior Advocate, Educational Psychologist, and Member of the Child Welfare Committee (Chennai South), who spoke on the enduring significance of the Constitution, the Preamble as the nation’s moral compass, the relevance of Fundamental Rights, and key safeguards such as POCSO and POSH/Visaka guidelines. Advocate Shri Hari Narayan, LL.M (Maritime Law, UK) — United Maritime Law Chambers, who delivered an insightful lecture on constitutional values and highlighted the importance of observing Constitution Day within academic and professional communities. Both sessions emphasised the harmony between rights and Fundamental Duties, encouraging students and stakeholders to uphold constitutional values, respect diversity, and contribute positively to the nation.
