The Institute is proud to share its participation in the prestigious MJTTF Training-to-Trainers Roll-Out Program on Green Maritime Fuel for Sustainable Shipping, conducted at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 08 April 2026 to 15 April 2026. This international program was organized in two cohorts and brought together experts and professionals committed to advancing sustainable practices in the maritime sector. The training focused on emerging green fuel technologies, environmental compliance, and strategies to support the global transition toward low-carbon shipping. Dr. Krishnakumari Aharamuthu, Associate Professor, School of Marine Engineering & Technology, represented the Institute in this program. She successfully fulfilled all assigned responsibilities and delivered lectures on five designated topics in each cohort. Her sessions were well-received and contributed significantly to knowledge sharing and capacity building among participants from diverse backgrounds. The program also received notable recognition and was featured in official news coverage by the Hong Kong Government, underscoring its importance in promoting sustainable maritime initiatives.
