On 5 August 2025, IMU Kochi Campus conducted an impactful session on Anti-Drug and Narcotic Awareness as part of the Orientation Week for new students. The session featured expert speakers: Dr. Jooly Kurien – Professor, Lisie College of Pharmacy, Smt. Stiya Stinson – Faculty, Lisie College of Pharmacy, Smt. Sethu Lekshmi – Sub-Inspector, Kerala Excise Department. Key Highlights:Understanding the scientific, legal, and social consequences of substance abuse, Real-life insights into addiction, rehabilitation, and law enforcement, A strong call to action for students to commit to a drug-free lifestyle. A powerful and eye-opening session that emphasized awareness, responsibility, and making the right choices.
