The Global Shipping industry has started with new concept ‘Industry4.0’.This concept has ingrained potentials to bring a qualitative change in perception about human-machine interface and response. Seafarers’ skills are therefore needed to be at vantage point to meet challenges of career paths during this period of transformation and of the adaptation. IMU-Navi Mumbai Campus has the legacy of T.S.Dufferin,T.S.Rajendra,T.S.Chanakya to make this campus as a seat of knowledge,skill and performance based institution, to meet the new requirements of industry. It is our vision that the campus becomes the ‘GO TO’ place for any pre-sea training requirements for nautical studies. We,the team of IMU-NMC,endeavour with profound zeal to work on mission mode to achieve the set outcome of our vision.
