On 15 August 2025, the IMU, Kochi Campus observed the 79th Independence Day with heartfelt patriotism and lively campus spirit. The ceremony opened with a formal parade by students, inspected by Rear Admiral (Retd.) S. N. Alamanda, Director of IMU Kochi Campus, followed by the hoisting of the national flag and collective rendition of the National Anthem, fostering unity and pride. In his inspiring address, Rear Admiral Alamanda paid homage to our freedom fighters and called upon the youth to actively contribute toward the ambitious national vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047”—India’s goal of becoming a fully developed nation by its centennial of independence. The celebration culminated in vibrant cultural performances and patriotic songs by students, embodying the spirit of independence and the nation’s diversity.
