IMU Kochi Campus joyfully celebrated the Onam Festival 2025 under the theme of ‘MELAM 2k25’, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and employees in a vibrant expression of Kerala’s cultural richness. The event was inaugurated by Rear Admiral S. N. Alamanda (Retd.), Director of IMU Kochi Campus, who lit the traditional lamp and delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of cultural harmony and unity. Highlights of MELAM 2k25: Pookkalam (Floral Rangoli) competition, Thiruvathira dance performance, Cultural song and dance shows, Uriyadi (pot-breaking game), Tug of War, Rhythmic Chenda Melam, Traditional Onam Sadhya feast. The festival created an atmosphere of joy and togetherness while highlighting the values of unity and cultural appreciation. The entire IMU Kochi community participated with enthusiasm, making it a memorable celebration.
